Sandwich BIA Strategic Planning Process
- The Sandwich Town Business Improvement Area (BIA) is undertaking a neighbourhood survey as part of the development of its new strategic plan, at a time of significant change and opportunity for the community. With the Gordie Howe International Bridge nearing completion and its opening on the horizon, along with the completion of recent infrastructure investments in the area, Sandwich is poised for renewed growth and visibility. This momentum is already being felt through the arrival of new local businesses—including a grocery store, coffee shop, and other services—that are helping to strengthen the neighbourhood’s vibrancy and everyday livability. The BIA wants to hear from the neighbourhood, visitors, shoppers your throughs on what should come next.

Hello Frazier,
A little off topic but something important to everyone in the City, Rats. I’ve come across a product called Contrapest. It’s is basically a birth control. Can you please have someone look into this product and find out how to get it here? We know poison stops working because rats are quite smart and once they get sick, the others ones know not to go near it. This doesn’t make them sick so they continue eating it. We need something like this, especially close to the bridge owned blight.
Thank You
Hi Debra,
Rats are an issue. I am working on a couple of ideas but thanks for sharing this I will pass it along and hopefully have some answers soon.
