April 13 – City Council Meeting – Agenda
- A finance heavy meeting with:
- End of year financial reports and budget variances for the City (11.3) and Transit Windsor (11.1) are covered along with the annual investment compliance report.
- EC-Row Construction noise by-law exemption:
- Sections of EC Row are going to be milled and paved this year, to mitigate impact on commuters we are waiving noise by-law to allow construction to proceed outside of normal working hours. Below are the sections to be worked on.

- Annual report on Strengthening the Core’s Progress (11.2) has some interesting stuff in it.
- Letters from the School Boards on their opinion of supporting student transportation in Windsor – Spoilers: Not their responsibility
On Roadworks

- Not bad for only 4 months in office. 😉
- In all seriousness, the roads in Ward 2 are a challenge, so I appreciate the investment that has been identified by City staff, and supported by the Mayor and Council.
- The Huron Church Road Project is happening between Wards 2 and 10 just north of of EC Row. The noise-by-law waiver was passed at our March 30th meeting of Council.
- I will be able to speak to specific road that will be the focus of construction soon as they are still being finalized but you can see some hints in the Ward where utilities are being marked and signs pre-positioned. Take a walk about and report back!
