Let’s walk human!

A quick update on a few things as we get back to the post campaign world and transition to a new council.

  • I have received the FOI files for CTC Concrete, it is several hundred pages of reading plus some follow up with the Ministry with some technical questions.
    • I have filed a second set of FOIs on CTC Concrete additional reporting that has occurred in 2026!
    • You can expect a fullsome post in the coming weeks on this topic, I have shared the materials with some expert contacts (Environmental Lawyer, Engineer etc.) to get some input.
  • The Federal budget dropped yesterday, as did the Provincial Fiscal update. Setting aside partisan lenses, there are some interesting investments in both documents that could positively impact Ward 2 and the City. I don’t know if I will get a chance to write it up, but
  • The City is doing a consultation on Facility Accessibility Standards if you have any input please share it by December 15th to accessibility@citywindsor.ca by email.
    • To be honest, not the most engaging consultation process.
  • You can apply for Agencies, Boards and Committees, with the City – there will likely be more of these posted once the new term begins.
    • If you are interested and live in Ward 2, please reach out with any questions and let me know if you applied.

I am taking a few days this weekend to recharge. I may be a little slower in responding to outreach.
