Here is something I am kicking off for the New Year, a community calendar for Ward 2.

January is a little bare as I did a scan of what I could see or recently saw online – I certainly missed somethings. Going forward I want you to let me know if there is stuff happening in West Windsor that I should know about, and share. You can send your a poster, flyer or link to the event or other information to ffathers@citywindsor.ca or DM me on social media.

A few rules:

  1. The event/activity/program has to be open to the public – it can be a ticketed event. It also should be a non-normal operation – I am not going to post a Tuesday night dinner special at restaurants.
  2. It should be in Ward 2 or close enough that it is easily accessible for Ward 2 residents.
  3. I will do my best to make sure information is accurate but if times/dates change it isn’t my fault, I won’t be updating the calendar beyond the time it is published. You should google the event to confirm!
  4. If we have a busy day, I decide on what goes on the calendar, only so much information will fit in the box. If an event was previously posted it will get bumped for the new event.
  5. Finally, I need any events submitted by the final Wednesday of the Month so to be on February calendar you need send me your event on Jan 28. If the Wednesday is the last day of the month, it is due the week before.
